I know it's been awhile

Sup all,

Well there's really too much to talk about since the last time I posted, but here it goes.  I'm still unemployed in the non-military sense.  Had a couple of interviews and got even more on the way.  So hopefully I'll be gainfully employed by January.

Sam's doing great.  She's getting hella big( double in size since birth to be exact).  I'm really hoping she has some playmates coming around within the next year (hint, hint).  That way everyone can enjoy the love of a baby.

The Army is the Army.  I'm a Platoon Leader with a support company.  I gotta tell you it's a whole different world away from the infantry side of the fence.  Haven't heard about any deployments coming up and hopefully this middle east thing may be done by the time they send the INNG but honestly I wouldn't mind something.

Danielle's well.  She's really enjoying the part time bit.  now if i could just get her to spend money like she works part time that would be great

I know that the clutter thing right now is Xbox and trust me I've been doing some major thinking on this point.  I love the idea of a PS3 though.  I'm even willing to get the cheap one.  Oh sure I'm goning to wait till I have a job.  But people I play with all seem to have a Xbox.  So what to do.

Well that does it for me.  Take care all.

I

Hello again all,

I know, I know I'm down at the bottom again, but I assure you I have good reason.  For the last two months I have been in hell, and by hell I mean Alabama.  Now one might think that when I say Alabama is hell that it is because it's ungodly hot even in the winter.  Nay my good friends, hell like vengence is cold.....very cold.  I do not remember ever being so cold.

Was  being in hell worth it.  I don't know yet.  We'll see after Saturday when the pin my gold bars on me and I assume the rank of 2nd LT.

Things are getting scary now.  I have to find a job yet find one that pays well but I can walk away from when I need to goto OBC (officer basic course).  I need to go soon but I still run the risk of missing the birth of my son.  So it's all very scary.

Oh well, I'm back all.  I hope to see you at the Lan party Saturday.

Where do I frigging begin?

Well it's been a busy time since I last posted so here's a quick rundown of my life.

1. I quitting my job.  That place can burn in hell for all I care.  My offical quitting day is the first Friday in January.  The only reason I'm waiting till then is A: Danielle will kill me if i quit sooner and start using buyout money now and B: so i don't get raped on the taxes.

2.  I passed my Pt test therefore i'm 95% on my way to OCS in January.   I'm still working out though since the first thing you do when you get to an Army school is take a PT test and this last one was a little too close for comfort.

3.  Since I passed my test, I purchased an Ipod for working out.  It's cool just a little tricky to figure out.  I hate to say it but I'm really starting to look into Macs.  Danielle won't let me purchase a mini mac yet but i figure if I get through OCS and OBC (officer basic course) i might be able to whine myself one.  then i can start getting rid of these bothersome pcs (just kidding)

4.  Danielle and I's anniversary is coming up.  We're going to Ruth Chris Steakhouse in Indy.  i thought about wearing a sweatshirt in honor of Bishop but I don't want to be put in the front window so I might actualy dress up.

Well that's about it.

Post off!!!

Still in Hell, this time it's called Louisiana

I folks,

This is my first chance to touch a computer simce being deployed so I'm making the most of it,  I'm sitting in a bowling alley near Alexandria for thosse of you who have a map.  WE've been sent here by the great state of Indiana even though Louisiana doesn't want us.  We're staying in what can be called horse barns, no a/c no bathrooms nearby, nothing but our cots and our rucksacks.  Don't pity me because i signed for this shit, but I do sometimes expect for the military to treat us better.

So what have i been doing these last three weeks?  I've protected the red cross,  given water to the needy, spnt a shit load of money at Wal-mart and i've wasted the taxpayer's money the very best i can.  I 've fallen in love with sweet tea and it will become a regular at the clark household.

Well I need to check some more sites but i miss you all.  Somebody give my wife a hug for me.   Rumor has it i may be home the first weekend of Oct for OCS.  Don't hold your breath but i'll be home soon and expect a big party soon after that.

Post you all
