Months of neglect made up for by a video??

This is a re-post from a post on my website http://www.pixelrific.com

So, its like 12:30 last night, and I'm at work, and Tim and Joe come back from a "Buisness Dinner" which apparently degenerated into a drunken festival. A while later Joe whispers "Nick, you gotta see this" so I walk over, and see the following.

It seems that Tim decided it was time to sleep on the floor. when we tried to wake him up, he muttered nonsense twords us, got into a sitting position, reached up and plucked a highlighter from his desk, and proceeded to lay back down...

We let him sleep like that for a while. around 2ish I decided I had had enough for the night and got ready to go home. I though "it might be a good idea to wake tim up and tell him to go home", the results of which can be viewed here!

Enjoy!

Insanity ensues...

Wow. a lot has happened in the last week. I took my first ever vacation, which was awesome. Christina and myself flew to Vegas for a few days and did some sight seeing, and some light gambling. I had nothing to loose, and still managed to loose everything. Christina on the other hand uncovered a wicked streak of beginners luck, and managed to win in the upwards of $180 (which is a lot when you aren't betting with much). there are many pictures, which I have uploaded to the website in no particular order HERE. They have not been gone Thur yet, so there are many that are to dark, or blurry, or not rotated the right way. Hopefully I'll get some time this week to do that.

There was a Lan party last night at Matt's house in Lafayette. Things were a little rough, as we attempted to transition from CS Source, the tried and true LAN party game of choice, to Battlefield 2, which is the new game on the block. What we lacked in actual game play, we more then made up for with alcohol consumption, which as history has proven time and time again tends to level out most situations. There were some drunken antics, the likes of which I will not repeat in this public forum, but needless to say I doubt bishop will be drinking Red bull and Vodka anytime soon again.

Smoking guns

I was up till 3 in the morning last night, though not because of work like usual. last night I watched a documentary entitled Loose Change: 2nd Edition which more or less is an hour and 20 minutes of densely packed facts showing how our government not only knew about 9/11 way in advance, but was actually responsible for it. I'm not one to take this sort of allegation lightly. I'm also very skeptical by nature, and consider most conspiracy theory to be bull. I will say this, the video makes some very difficult to deny claims about the events leading up to, and during the attacks on 9/11. If you are interested, do follow the link above, and read the section entitled "Evidence". That will give you a nice primer on some of the facts presented in the video. If you are still intrigued at that point, and want to know more, then watch the documentary. I was able to find many instances of it on Google Video.

Please watch and form your own opinions. Discuss if you will. Pass it on if you think it has merit.

Buttered Up

After much pleading and begging and buttering up, Bishop finally was able to get me to help with the new site, which I think turned out pretty good. His additions are great, where as my contributions are only so-so. The beauty of the new system allows for "Skinning" of the site, which means for all you Kids out there in WWW-land, you too can create new looks for Webclutter 4.0! If you are interested in this in any way shape or form, feel free to contact me or bishop and we can point you down the path of CSS goodness.

Only In Dreams

As I sit here at my desk, surrounded on all sides by paperwork of varying importance, with notes for projects ranging from interface design for new as of yet undeveloped admin tools, to my thoughts and feelings about separating the development branch of our admin tools repository from the production environment to simplify development, I long today for one of 3 things. 1) To be laying peacefully in my bed asleep and dreaming vivid colorful dreams the contents of which bound only by my overactive imagination. 2) To be off playing games like I did my freshman year of college, disconnected, shielded and unconcerned with the stresses and reality of the world outside of academia. 3) Sitting in a coffee shop, double shot butterscotch latte to my left, sketch pad in hand, doodling and sketching, and discussing trivial matters of vast importance with friends.  I am 25 now.  Next year is practically here.
